Inside of me

In fact there is hunger I can see
And in my heart sometimes it hurts
Seeing people in need
In the midst of this streets
Meets my world the injustice

In space I search for an answer
Longing in prayer for something to happen
In time they need help
In you they could find security
If only you came into their situation

I´m in doubt about your words
Your interest cannot be that high
When you sit in peace and watch them lie
In the dirt
Instead of caring for the injured

In my mind I try to figure out
In which frames I can put your actions
Your inactivity makes me mad
It leaves me sad in my room

Inaudible
Invisible
Inarticulate
Indifferent

Then in the mirror I see
An insecured child of the living god
In all its longings and questions and tears
Carrying answers inside

Influence my day
Involve me in your plans
Inject your love in me
And my mind inspire with your words
Cause life inside your words
Is life inside of me
